THE GOAL

For Graphic Design II, I created a campaign to advertise the band Wallows for their album Tell Me That It's Over. I started by creating three completely different posters to figure out my aesthetic. From the start, I knew I wanted the theme to include futurism and the 80s, since the band's overall aesthetic is retro or vintage. I wanted to tie in some of these aspects into my campaign, while creating elements that match the music in the album.

PROCESS

After I had chosen the poster on the right, I went through a series of critiques to perfect it. Once my poster was done, I created the album art. I made sure the album art could tie together with the poster so they could look cohesive. I really enjoyed the project and I had a lot of fun creating both elements.
