I designed a mock-up poster for WWF to bring awareness about African Elephants. I envisioned this poster to be seen in a zoo or a place with animals. Therefore, I wanted this poster to be family friendly. I made the elephant in illustrator by using the pen tool and I placed it in Indesign to add the text around it. I went through a series of critiques, which resulted in the final poster below.
An aspect that I felt was challenging creating this poster was making the elephant. The wrinkles on the elephant was a very tedious task. I knew I wanted to include majority of these wrinkles from the reference photo, which resulted in myself working on this for multiple days. In the end, I am very pleased with the result of the elephant and I had a lot of fun creating it.
